I create sculptures and installations through fibre art and performance. Starting from repetitive and structured systems of making, like knitting and gridded drawings, my work becomes distorted as I use body parts like the circumference of my arms or the length of my hair to transform rigid patterns into organic forms. Contextually, I am informed by religious and political iconography, as well as intersectional feminism. Death and feminine monsters are concepts I find myself repeatedly drawn to.
